Yesterday, I was in the mood and decided to make some cupcakes. Unlike a few days ago, when I made some marble-cupcakes, I decided to make these special by applying frosting on them and using the frosting tools aside from just a spoon. The cake mix was red velvet, and the frosting was strawberry icing. They tasted okay. The end!

Summer of Cooking...
I'm so glad that it's now summer...Since school ended for summer break, I have been trying new dishes for my family. The favorite, so far, was the dessert I made the other night: Individual Cookies and Cream Pie. You simply buy a box of Jello's cookies and cream 5 minute pudding mix, a package of individual graham cracker pie shells (small for each person, usually 6 to a package), and a can of whipped cream. Fix the pudding as directed on the box, then put a few dabs of whipped cream in it and stir until firm, then put a spoon or two full of the pudding into each individual pie crust. Top with more whipped cream. Room temperature will start to liquify the pudding, so refrigerate or freeze until ready to eat. Actually, if you freeze the dessert (like I did), then it becomes a nice ice cream dessert that people can hold in their hands and eat.

Cooking Shows
| Clip-art by Mircosoft Office |
I hope to get more adventurous, especially this summer, and try to cook more things that are normally not what I eat. But back to cooking shows. They are one of my secret loves, mainly because the foods are good-looking, and the cooks appear to have good attitudes. They always seem to make cooking look fun. I remember, when I was 11 years old (which has been quite a few years now) I use to stay up late at night to watch the cooking show Two Fat Ladies, which was just extremely entertaining, and the hosts/cooks were lively and cooked very interesting things. They were one of the few who sort of encouraged me to try to become a chef. (Looks like I did not stay with it, eh?) Thinking of them now makes me quickly search up a video to share of them...
